It is likely that the Chopin Mazurka in F minor is op. 7, no. 3, as it was played this season in other venues. Satina noted that ‘the programs for these [European] cities were copied from the letters written by Rachmaninoff’s secretary to the managers – Mr J Ysaye and Mr G Engels.’ A letter on April 5 to Fekla Yakovlevna Russo, known as 'White Lilacs' (as she had sent anonymously bouquets of such flowers to Rachmaninoff's concerts since his early Russian years), acknowledges her kind gift of flowers at this concert (Literaturnoye nasledie, vol. 3, p. 102).
