Satina indicated that this was the 8th Symphony Concert of the season of the Moscow Philharmonic Society, beginning at 9pm. Martyn indicated that the songs were not accompanied by Rachmaninoff (p. 569), however he possibly meant 'not accompanied at the piano'. Martyn did not include Lyadov's op. 66 in the program, however a note to letter 479 in Literturnoye nasledie (vol. 2, p. 398) confirms the works listed here. Letter 479 also highlights that an orchestration of Rachmaninoff's 'Spring Waters' was initially intended for performance, but was dropped due to errors.
