Satina indicated that this ‘extra’ concert in Alexander Siloti’s season was dedicated to the memory of Alexander Scriabin. Barber, in his biography of Siloti, indicated Symphony no. 1, op. 26, as the first item on the program (p. 321). St Petersburg was known as Petrograd at this time.
